Hollywood has Brangelina, Bollywood has Saifeena, and Abhi-Ash, the power couple of Bollywood. This trend of merging names of the couples together is not new for the big screen. But if films set a trend, how can TV be far behind? Our television industry has finally caught the fever and now has its own couple- Rosid!
Before the question of which couple makes up Rosid arises, we need to tell you that this is not a real life couple, but an on-screen one! This moniker Rosid has risen from the names Roli and Siddhant from Sasural Simar Ka. The most interesting bit is that while the other names like Brangelina and Abhi-Ash have been given by the media, Rosid is the result of the audience's love for the couple.
Though the unusual pairing of the 32 year old Manish Raisinghani and the 14 year old Avika Gor as husband-wife didn't go down too well with the audience, they have slowly but surely warmed up to it. So much so that this couple has numerous Facebook pages and a Youtube channel dedicated enitrely to them.

Colors' show Sasural Simar Ka will witness yet another twist in the upcoming episodes, which will spice up the whole track as there will be new entry in the show.
Handsome actor Manish Raisinghani, who was last seen in STAR One's Rang Badalti Odhani, will play Mataji's grandson Siddhanth who was disowned by the family. Here is Manish talking about his role and more.
"I am glad to get an opportunity to play this role. It is a good and challenging role which I haven't played. After Rang Badalti Odhani, I was on break and suddenly I got a call from Pawansir and he told me about the character which was very exciting. Sasural Simar Ka is numbers five on television today which prompted me to give a look test and thus I got selected for this role."
Talking about his character, he says, "His name is Siddhanth, who Mataji's grandson but few years ago, due to some difference of opinion between her and him, she had disowned him. Now, he is back as a successful business tycoon. My entry will surely spice up the track."
Manish was shocked to hear that he would be paired opposite Avika Gor who plays Roli. "Firstly, I couldn't believe that I would be opposite the Balika Vadhu, little Anandi. But when it was confirmed, I was shocked and I laughed. Later, I was convinced by the production team as she is shown as a 18-year old girl in the show, so it's fine."
Today he was his first day on the sets of the show and he says, "I have joined the crew and met Avika too. We discussed our age difference as well. In real life, I could adopt her, since she is just 14-years-old. Moreover, we calculated that she is 43.5% younger to me – it is just amazing."

Avika Gor is Manish Raisinghani's muse!
Thirty-year-old Manish Raisinghani, who was initially apprehensive about pairing up with 14-year-old Avika Gor because of the big age difference, seems to be getting along with the gal now.
They have not only become off-screen buddies but the onscreen chemistry is also working for the show. Manish has taken up photography as a hobby and Gor has become his muse. However, clicking Avika wasn't a conscious move but just a part of him clicking everybody on the set. So did Avika consent easily? "She is one hell of a sport and is up and ready for everything.
Jokes apart, I did ask her parents for permission as she is a child, and they happily obliged. Ironically, both Avika and I struggled for a week to get glycerine for one particular picture which usually is the easiest thing available to all of us on the set. I had seen something similar on the net a while back and when I saw Avika crying during the scene, it just occurred to me that I can do something on those lines," says the actor. Well, what about holding an exhibition of your precious photographs, Manish?
